OnRecordCommit-triggered scripts are not activated via Instant Web Publishing
Question
Why is my script not running in Instant Web Publishing when I use the OnRecordCommit trigger?
Answer
When using the OnRecordCommit trigger, we have found that the defined script for that trigger will not be started in Instant Web Publishing if the record was placed into Edit mode using the Open Record/Request script step. Though, the record value will be properly committed.
To avoid this behavior, we recommend that a user edit the value in a field directly.
